Before installing Sp2013, first we have to install pre-requesties for compatabilty check for SP2013.for this we have to run Prerequisteinstaller

From the above select prerequisiteinstaller

Then click next

Tick the checkbox and click next button

Here it is a long process, so wait for more than 30min.. It need to total of 11 services have to be installed… If we will get the below screen, then all prerequisties will be installed successfully..

Some times there will be errors, then we have to install all the prerequesties manually.. for that, click the below link and download all the prerequesties in the order given in error window...

click setup

Next enter the product key

Click contine,by selecting the check box

Then we have to choose the file location, default file location will be shown and then click install now

Installation Progress

Successfully installed, then click finish.. After completion of prerequesties, installation process will automatically directed to Sharepoint2013 Product configuration wizard…. Just simply click next

By clicking next, we will get the below window, click on YES

Here we have to connect to a server farm, select CREATE A NEW SERVER FARM and then click next

Here we have to specify the connection to database server Database Server: . or Localhost (that is defined to your computer) Database name is default Username: YOUR COMPUTER NAME.(Ex:RAVICORP\ADMINISTRATOR) Password: your Database Password

Here type the Passphase,That like a passoword..combination of chars,nums,spl chars

Configue the sharepoint Port number between 1 to 65535… System will generate default, if u want to change then click on checkbpx and set a port number as you like..
